ISSA Canada

INTERNATIONAL BRANCH LOCATION memberships are for companies who are ISSA members with headquarter offices in the United States or internationally, but have satellite facilities in Canada. The fee supports the many initiatives ISSA Canada has undertaken and which are exclusive to Canadian members.

MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATIONS:

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP is open to firms that offer services to any class of ISSA Canada membership, as well as buying and/or selling groups or associations. It shall also be open to firms that sell products primarily for the manufacturing process.

• ASSOCIATE SERVICES: To provide services to some or all members.
• ASSOCIATE MANUFACTURER: To provide raw materials to manufacturer members.
• ASSOCIATE TRAINING CONSULTANT : To provide training or consulting services to association members.
• ASSOCIATE PUBLISHER: Publisher of trade magazines or periodicals.

BUILDING SERVICE CONTRACTOR membership is open to those firms that occupy a place of business and have a principal purpose which is the sale of cleaning and maintenance services to others who own/manage commercial, institutional or industrial facilities.

DISTRIBUTOR membership is open to those firms that occupy a place of business and have a principal purpose which is the sale of cleaning and maintenance products to commercial, industrial, or institutional end-users. The primary source of these products is the distributor’s warehouse inventory, which in turn is derived from several manufacturers.

WHOLESALER membership is open to those firms that occupy a place of business and have a principal purpose which is the sale of cleaning and maintenance products from several manufacturers to distributor members primarily from the firm’s warehouse inventory. No sales shall be made to industrial/institutional end users.

IN-HOUSE SERVICE PROVIDER membership is open to those firms that provide cleaning and maintenance services for themselves. 

MANUFACTURER membership is open to those firms engaged in the manufacture of products for sale to members. This classification is also open to importers into North America from one of more international manufacturers for sale to members.

MANUFACTURER REPRESENTATIVE membership is open to those firms that are independent contractor sales reps of ISSA manufacturer members.

RESIDENTIAL CLEANER membership is open to those firms that provide professional cleaning services in a house, apartment or condominium, thereby providing the consumer with a clean, healthy, and safe living environment.
